NACA 2020 Conference Cancellation FAQs
Is the NACA 2020 Conference in Reno Canceled?
Yes. We are very disappointed to announce that the 2020 National Animal Care & Control Conference, initially scheduled for October 7-9, 2020, is canceled. Many factors, including COVID-19, led us to this determination, but the safety of all involved was the guiding principle.
Where can I get more information about NACA’s response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic?

Will NACA have a Virtual Conference?
We have begun researching options that would include a virtual conference or webinar, and we will keep you informed about those possibilities. Updates will be placed on our conference webpage at www.nacaconference.org

Please refer to the airline carrier and/or train ticket policies regarding any cancellation fees associated with your flight. NACA is not responsible, nor can we inter-or supersede any policies or practices of transportation authorities.
I was a presenter for the 2020 NACA Annual Conference in Reno. Does this mean my session will automatically be accepted to the 2021 NACA Annual Conference?
No. NACA appreciates the time, effort, and talents of our presenters who were preparing to deliver exceptional content at the 2020 event. Our conference committee sets rules for presenters annually based on the goals of the particular NACA Leadership and the content areas that are of focus for next year. We encourage you to look at next year’s submission process and revise your content to align with the new learning outcomes and focus areas. The 2021 process to select presenters will be updated on our conference website at www.nacaconference.org
Will NACA have Annual Awards for 2020?
Yes. We are exploring a way to celebrate our outstanding members and other honorees in 2020. Please stay tuned for more details of our celebration plans, to come together and honor those whom we were planning to honor at our 2020 conference. Announcements will be made through our monthly newsletters and updated on our conference page at www.nacaconference.org.
